The YALI Somalia Alumni Chapter recently had the honor of engaging with the U.S. Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Ambassador Richard H. Riley, and other key officials from the U.S. Embassy in Mogadishu, including the newly appointed Public Affairs Officer, Christy Watkins.
During this insightful meeting, we held productive discussions focused on fostering impactful partnerships aimed at advancing peace and sustainable development in Somalia. Our conversations centered on empowering Somali youth, enhancing leadership opportunities, and exploring collaborative efforts that align with our shared vision of creating lasting positive change.
We deeply appreciate the unwavering support and collaboration from the U.S. Embassy Mogadishu as we continue working together to equip young Somalis with the skills and opportunities they need to become changemakers and contribute to a brighter, more prosperous Somalia.
This engagement reaffirms our commitment to strengthening partnerships that drive progress and empower the next generation of Somali leaders.
