YALI Somalia delegates proudly representted our chapter at the 2024 YALI Alumni Expo and Trade Show (YALI Expo), held from November 11–14, 2024, in Cape Town, South Africa! This prestigious event, funded by USAID and organized by the Young African Leaders Initiative in partnership with Arizona State University, brings together YALI alumni from across the African continent to connect, collaborate, and share impactful ideas.
We are thrilled to have our team on the ground, showcasing the incredible work happening in Somalia and gaining valuable insights from other young leaders across Africa. The YALI Expo serves as a unique platform to exchange innovative ideas, foster partnerships, and explore opportunities that can drive sustainable change in our communities.
Adding to the excitement, our participation in Cape Town coincided with the highly anticipated AfricaTech Festival, starting right after the YALI Expo. This massive event is set to attract over 15,000 attendees, featuring 300+ exhibitors, 1,000+ startups, and a dynamic network of investors eager to support groundbreaking initiatives.
The YALI Somalia delegates are excited to learn, network, and draw inspiration from the remarkable projects and innovative solutions being shared across the continent. Our participation in events like these reinforces our commitment to driving positive change and amplifying youth leadership in Somalia.
